Different grounds for basketball courtAuthor:fsgrkViews:90times
Soil ground: It is very rare at present, but in many places where conditions are not good in China 20 years ago, basketball courts on soil grounds are common. Even in the relatively poor areas of our country, there are still basketball courts with soil ground. The advantage is that the construction is simple, as long as there is a piece of flat land. The biggest drawback is that the ground is easily affected by the weather. After being stepped on by the rain, there is no way to play basketball again, and it is easy to have large dust when it is windy, resulting in inability to move normally. Cement floor: The basketball court on the cement floor is still relatively common today. In many schools in the county and in the countryside, the basketball courts use cement to make the ground. The concrete floor is flatter than the soil ground, not easy to damage, less affected by the weather, and relatively durable. However, its shortcoming is that the ground is hard and the elasticity is not good. The athletes are vulnerable to more serious abrasions or earthquakes. Tarmac ground: Currently, the basketball courts in many small and medium-sized cities use tarmac, which looks clean and tidy, and has a certain elasticity on the ground, so that athletes will not be hurt more when they fall. However, such a ground can hardly be used when the temperature is high in summer, because the asphalt will be softened by the hot sun, and the basketball will stick a lot of tar on it, and the person will stick to the asphalt when it is stepped on it. Therefore, many outdoor basketball venues today no longer use tar to make the ground, and there are still some indoor basketball stadiums. Wooden floors: In some clubs and universities with good conditions, the basketball courts use wooden floors. It is easy to clean and has good elasticity. Athletes are not vulnerable to injury during competition. Wood floors are mostly used in indoor basketball courts, and the cost is high. Plastic floor: The plastic basketball court has gradually become popular in recent years. Because it is easy to construct and easy to maintain, it can be used indoors and outdoors, and it is not affected by the weather environment. The plastic basketball court is called the all-weather sports basketball court. Due to the good flexibility of the plastic, the athlete will not be injured during the game because the ground is too hard. Plastic materials are usually divided into PVC, silicon PU, acrylic and suspended floor. PVC materials are generally found in indoor basketball courts. Because their cost is higher than that of silicon PU, PVC is seldomly used in outdoor basketball courts. PVC is characterized by firmness, durability, stability and protection. The silicon PU material is scientifically compounded with a polyurethane (PU) material and a material containing a silicone component to produce a material for use on a sports court area. The characteristics of silicon PU are: moderate cost, durable, strong protection, good structure (that is, the surface is hard, the bottom is elastic). Acrylic material, which is made of high-quality acrylic top coat and a certain proportion of quartz sand and water, is a water-based raw material. Acrylic court has a flat surface, good adhesion, no blistering, no peeling, etc. It is easy to construct, convenient for daily maintenance and low in cost. But there is no resilience and the ground requirements are very high. Suspended floor, relatively new materials, both indoors and outdoors. It can be directly paved onto cement or asphalt floor, paving is convenient, cleaning is simple, and protection performance is better.
